Alpena BOE approves plan to get students in classrooms
Alpena High School was the highest ranked school from Northeast Michigan by U.S. News & World Report.
ALPENA, Mich.– The Alpena Board of Education changed the instruction plan for the remainder of the school year.
The board unanimously voted during their Tuesday night meeting to return to in–person instruction. Specifically, they approved a motion for in–person instruction four days a week at the middle and high schools. On Wednesdays, students will learn remotely.
The new plan begins April 5.
The board also approved full–time in–person instruction for the coming fall semester.
