Last Thursday, Representative Sue Allor held her “Coffee Hour” event in Iosco County. The event was held at the local big boy restaurant, with concerned residents in attendance to discuss local issues.
Allor says that despite the many issues that were discussed, most were concerns at the county level.
“Quite often the issues that they were bringing up were actually more county level planning and zoning issues and or road maintenance again which is a county issue,” said Allor.
Other issues discussed included lowering the drinking age and incorporating more skills trade programs into high schools.
Allor says she plans to pay a visit to each county and discuss varying community concerns.
