Alcona girls basketball can’t complete comeback against Ogemaw Heights

ALCONA — The Tigers couldn’t complete the comeback against Ogemaw Heights after falling behind 21-13 at the half. Megan Grove had 12, Bri Fogle had 8, and Rachel Layton had 6 to pace Alcona in their 38-36 loss. It’s also Alcona’s first loss on the season.

Head Coach Mark Feldhiser attributed the loss to turnovers and missed free throws. Alcona was 10 of 26 from the line. Up next for Alcona (4-1) is Mio on Tuesday.
