Air operations take off in spring
ALPENA, Mich.– Alpena area residents may have noticed a bit more aircraft noise this week.
The Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center has increased its flight operations.
Warmer weather allowed the Army and Air Force reserves to run air drops as of Monday, April 12.
The Marine Corps will train night and day with a Harrier II aircraft later this month.
More operations are in store this May, including a biennial statewide exercise called “Mobility Guardian.”
