AHS hosts virtual FAFSA night
ALPENA, Mich. — Alpena Public Schools wants to remind high school students and their families to participate in FAFSA night.
According to Michigan College Advisor Valerie Slaght, the FAFSA form is used for grants, scholarships, loans and work study programs. Slaght said families can benefit from completing the FAFSA regardless of their financial situation.
It is recommended that students register online for a federal student aid ID in advance.
The virtual event is open to 12th grade and 13th year families and will be held on Wednesday, February 17 at 6:30 p.m.
