ACC student scores second place in Michigan on exam
ALPENA, Mich. — As many students acclimate to the new norm of what their fall semesters are looking like one ACC student is not letting the COVID–19 pandemic deter her.
ACC student, Savannah Adkins, recently received accolades from school administration for placing second highest in the state on her excel expert exam. This exam is offered through Microsoft Office and placing second makes Adkins highly qualified in her skill set.
Adkins who currently attends both ACC and Northwood University said she had no idea there was a competition and winning came to her as a surprise.
Initially from Waterford Michigan, Adkins moved to Hail three years ago and explained why ACC became her first college choice.
Adkins is not letting the pandemic discourage her as she shared her future plans.
She also offered advice for success and said stay ahead of your deadlines to help reduce stress and reach out to your professors when you need them. They are there and more than willing to help.
