ACC renews president’s contract
ALPENA, Mich. — Alpena Community College (ACC) President Dr. Don MacMaster received more than a passing grade during his evaluation at Thursday night’s board meeting.
The college’s Board of Trustees extended Dr. MacMaster his third three–year contract. He said the board expressed satisfaction with his leadership during the pandemic.
MacMaster described his evaluation as enjoyable and robust. His new contract begins July 1, 2021.
His top priorities will be completion of Van Lare Hall and getting staff moved in. Additionally, he plans to move forward with renovating ACC’s welding and manufacturing department.
