42-Year-Old Marc James Whitney Facing Child Pornography Charges
Alpena, Mich.-The Hillman man arrested Wednesday in Montmorency County has now been arraigned in the 88th District Court. 42-Year-Old Marc James Whitney was charged with possession of child sexually abusive material, and using a computer in a crime. Whitney could be facing 4 to 7 years in prison.
An investigation earlier this year by the Huron Undercover Narcotics Team revealed that Whitney was reaching out to young girls between the ages of 10 to 16 years old through social media.
Whitney previously was convicted of 2 counts of criminal sexual conduct in the second degree involving a minor.
