22-Year-Old Arrested Following High Speed Chase
A 22-year-old South Branch man was arrested after leading a deputy from the Alcona County Sheriff’s Office on a high-speed chase.
According to the sheriff’s office the incident happened last Friday, when a deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop of a black GMC around 3 am on Bamfield Road in Curtis Township. After the deputy turned on his emergency lights and siren, the vehicle fled the scene at a high speed.
The driver was identified as Jason Arzie Hall. After an investigation Hall was arrested for: ‘Fleeing and Elude in the 4th Degree and Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated.’
Hall was arraigned and released on a $5,000.
