15th Annual Concerts in the Park Hosts Another Concert
The outdoor fun is continuing to happen in Alpena.
The Bayview Park 2022 Summer Season Band Shell had another show Saturday.
Concert Attendee Melissa Tolan Halleck said, “the music has been great and we had heard about it a little bit through social media and anytime there’s an outside event in Alpena we try to attend, especially when it’s so close to home and walkable.”
The event served hot dogs and apple pie along with other treats. This event is to showcase local talent and to bring residents out by the beach to have a good time.
Concert Attendee Cheryl Lemke said, “we just like to give back to the community as they’ve given back to us so that’s you know what brought me out and it’s good music and beautiful weather.”
The show was free and open to the public with bands performing from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. If you did not get a chance to see this show, don’t worry, Bayview Park concerts are continuing all summer and the next show is scheduled for July 4.
